Our search tool has been written to allow you to search for a village without necessarily knowing the full name or being concerned with capitalization.

For instance if you wanted to search for a village named Bawburgh then you could type into the search box the text bawburgh or BAWBURGH or even bAWBURGH, but if you only knew that the village you are looking for started with Baw then you could enter Baw or BAW or bAW.
